MSEDCL cuts power to 800 Pune Zilla Parishad schools over non-payment of bills

Power supply to 800 Pune Zilla Parishad schools has been disconnected by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) over non-payment of the bills. "The total pending bill amount is ₹2.28 crore," Pune Zilla Parishad's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ayush Prasad said. "We have asked local authorities to assist in the payment of bills from their funds," he added.
