MSRTC to install AI CCTV cameras at Pune’s Swargate ST stand

The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation will equip Pune’s Swargate ST bus station with AI-powered CCTV cameras to enhance passenger safety, following critical lapses exposed in a recent security audit. The system, part of a plan to deploy 3,000 AI-enabled smart buses across the state, will monitor driver behaviour, detect potential threats, and issue real-time alerts for violations.
