MTNL jumps 17% on ₹891.53-crore Powai property sale

MTNL shares surged over 17% to ₹26.94 on Thursday after its board approved the sale of a Powai property to the Income Tax Department. The 20,895.60-square-metre property in Mumbai will be transferred for ₹891.53 crore through a government-to-government direct sale, subject to the formal acceptance and specified approvals.
