Mukesh Ambani overtakes TikTok founder to become Asia's richest person

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has overtaken ByteDance founder Zhang Yiming to become Asia's richest person, according to Forbes. Ambani's net worth rose to $88.8 billion after Reliance Industries shares jumped around 12% on Monday, following the conglomerate's record Q2 revenue of ₹3.62 lakh crore. Yiming's net worth stood at $84 billion.
