Mukesh Dhangar fielded by Congress against Hema Malini in Mathura seat

Congress has nominated Mukesh Dhangar against actress-turned-politician Hema Malini in the Mathura Lok Sabha seat. Hema Malini has been representing the seat in Lok Sabha since 2014. Earlier, there were reports that Congress would field Olympic medal-winning boxer Vijender Singh from the seat. Singh quit the party and joined BJP on Wednesday.
