Mumbai airport plans to shift flights to 14 international destinations to Navi Mumbai

Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL) plans to shift flights to 14 international destinations from Mumbai airport to Navi Mumbai International Airport next summer. The proposal covers all airlines and aims to free up space for the redevelopment of Terminal 1, with MIAL asking airlines to surrender slots voluntarily. The Civil Aviation Ministry will consider the proposal before taking a decision.
