Mumbai bans gatherings of over 5 people in public places from July 23 to Aug 6

Mumbai Police on Monday prohibited the assembly of five or more people in public places from July 23 to August 6, citing concerns over public order and threats to human life. The order exempts marriage ceremonies, funerals, processions, cinemas, and other places of public entertainment. Courts, government offices and local bodies carrying out official work are also exempt.
