Mumbai cops register multiple FIRs in fake birth certificate scam

Kurla, Mulund, and Deonar police in Mumbai have registered FIRs against 24 individuals in a widespread fake birth certificate scam. The accused allegedly submitted forged documents and manipulated records to correct names and parental details. Investigations revealed the use of false Aadhaar cards, claims of home births, and unauthorised logins by former health officers.
