Mumbai court issues non-bailable warrant against Mehul Choksi

A Mumbai court has issued a non-bailable warrant against fugitive businessman Mehul Choksi in the ₹55 crore loan fraud case. The scam involves Canara Bank and Bank of Maharashtra sanctioning loans worth ₹30 crore and ₹25 crore, respectively, to Bezel Jewellery, which were not repaid. This comes after Choksi was recently arrested in Belgium in the ₹13,500 crore PNB scam.
