Mumbai court orders society to refund ₹1.6 lakh with 7% interest

Maharashtra State Co-operative Appellate Court has directed Mulund Mayur Sahakari Gruhnirman Sanstha to refund ₹1.6 lakh to 62-year-old Asha Abasaheb More, with 7% annual interest from May 1997. The court upheld her promoter-member status but rejected her flat allotment claim and ₹1.25 crore compensation demand, citing insufficient evidence of flat allotment or construction cost payment.
