Mumbai court sends Vaze to 14-day police custody in extortion case

A Mumbai court on Monday sent former Mumbai Police officer Sachin Vaze to 14-day police custody in connection with an extortion case. Vaze was arrested by the National Investigation Agency in March after the recovery of explosives from a car near businessman Mukesh Ambani's house. He was also accused of the murder of the vehicle's owner Mansukh Hiren.
