Mumbai delivery boy turns chain snatcher after gambling losses

A 24-year-old Blinkit delivery boy allegedly turned chain snatcher after losing money in online gambling, police said. Kumar Babu Chavan reportedly targeted women and sold stolen gold to recover his gambling losses and try to make profits. His arrest helped crack eight chain-snatching cases in Navi Mumbai. Police recovered gold ornaments worth ₹7.92 lakh and a scooter.
