India's financial capital Mumbai is home to the world's highest-earning expatriates, according to a survey by HSBC. Foreigners moving to Mumbai reported average yearly earnings of ₹1.4 crore, which is more than double the global expat average of ₹64.7 lakh, the survey showed. Shanghai, Jakarta, and Hong Kong were the other Asian cities among the top 10 expat salary rankings.
