Mumbai local train guard assaulted; staff protest over no FIR

An on-duty train guard was allegedly assaulted by a Home Guard on a Churchgate-Borivali local at Vile Parle, Mumbai station on the night of April 21. The attack followed a dispute over entry into the ladies' coach. Railway staff protested at Andheri GRP as only an NC offence was filed, alleging delay and dilution of charges.
