Mumbai man loses ₹94 lakh in fake stock trading scam

A 54-year-old Kanjur Marg resident lost ₹94 lakh to cyber fraudsters between July 30 and September 10, 2026. Lured via an Instagram ad, he was added to a WhatsApp group where scammers directed him to a fake trading platform. He transferred funds across multiple accounts before the fraud was revealed. Cyber police are investigating.
