Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday inaugurated Mumbai Metro Lines 9 and 2B, boosting suburban connectivity in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Line 9 is an extension of Line 7 and will connect Dahisar East to Mira-Bhayandar, while Line 2B extends connectivity to important Harbour Line areas, including Chembur. The services on the new lines will begin on Wednesday.
