Mumbai Metropolitan Region will get 10 new cities, 2 tourism hubs

NITI Aayog's economic master plan for Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) proposes the development of 10 planned cities, 2 tourism hubs, and 7 business districts to boost economic growth. It includes rehabilitation of 2.2 million slum homes, affordable housing initiatives, tourism expansion, and global-standard business districts.
