The metal structure of an under-construction Mumbai Metro-7 pillar collapsed on the service road of Western Express Highway's Aarey junction on Saturday evening. The incident occurred due to a malfunction in the crane deployed at the site, officials said. While no casualty was reported in the incident, the Mumbai development authority will reportedly issue a show-cause notice to the contractor.
