Mumbai Monorail prepares to return after 8-month closure

Ahead of the monsoon, the Mumbai Monorail is all set to hit the tracks once again in June. Services have remained suspended in the city for the past eight months, but with the final round of safety inspections and trial runs scheduled to begin this week, operations are finally expected to resume next month.
