Mumbai Monorail set to restart with 21 new upgrades
Mumbai's monorail is gearing up to resume services after the MMRDA secured safety certification for its new rolling stock and advanced CBTC signalling, marking progress toward restoring operations on the 19.54-km Chembur-Jacob Circle route. The upgraded 'Made in India' trains include 21 modern features such as CCTV, charging points, dynamic route maps and improved safety systems.
