Mumbai on alert after terror threat warning, security tightened

Mumbai Police have heightened security arrangements in crowded areas and religious places in the city after central agencies alerted about a potential terror threat. Temples have reportedly been specifically advised to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity. Police on Friday also conducted a mock drill in the crowded Crawford Market area, which houses two famous religious sites.
