Mumbai Police deny permission for CJP's Oct 2 protest against CEC

The Mumbai Police has denied permission to the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) for its proposed protest against CEC Gyanesh Kumar at the Shivaji Park on October 2. Police said they were not empowered to grant the permission for the location, saying the restriction arises from Bombay High Court's orders. Organisers did not submit required permission from the BMC, police added.
