Mumbai Police prohibits singing obscene songs publicly due to Holi

Mumbai Police announced restrictions for citizens to maintain public peace and safety on Holi. The order forbids people from spraying water and colours on pedestrians, as well as singing obscene songs in public from March 12 till March 18. The order further stated that anyone violating these orders would face legal actions under Section 135 of Maharashtra Police Act, 1951.
