Mumbai on Friday reported 5,008 new COVID-19 cases, nearly 700 fewer than a day ago, and 12 deaths in the last 24 hours. As per the bulletin, 84% of the new patients are asymptomatic and 420 patients were hospitalised today. Over 12,000 people were discharged taking the recovery rate to 97%. Of those who died, nine persons had co-morbidities.
