Mumbai’s 7 lakes hold 95.93% water stock, levels slightly lower than last year
Mumbai's seven lakes, which supply drinking water to the city, held 95.93% of their total live storage capacity as of 6 am on Sunday. The lakes collectively contained 13,88,423 million litres of water. The current stock is slightly lower than the 14,00,995 million litres recorded during the same period in 2025. Among the seven lakes, Vihar Lake was 100% full.
