Mumbai's Vada Pav ranked among world's 30 most iconic sandwiches

Popular food guide TasteAtlas has ranked Mumbai's Ashok Vada Pav 25th on the list of World's Most Iconic Sandwiches. The list features Turkey's Tombik Döner, Vietnam's Bánh Mì Heo Quay, and Venezuela's Arepa Reina Pepiada in top three. Late Ashok Vaidya is believed to have invented Vada Pav in 1966, with the stall currently located near Kirti College in Dadar.
