Several parts of Mumbai witnessed unseasonal rainfall on Thursday morning with rainfall shortly beginning after 6 am. Increased moisture from the Arabian Sea and the influence of a western disturbance have resulted in light to moderate rainfall across Mumbai and its suburban areas, according to the meteorological department. The unseasonal rain also resulted in a drop in temperature.
