Mumbai teenager becomes youngest Indian to summit Mt Everest

A 16-year-old girl from Mumbai has become the youngest Indian to scale Mt Everest. Kaamya Karthikeyan successfully climbed the highest peak in the world from the Nepal side, the Indian Navy said on Thursday. Kaamya was accompanied by her father, S Karthikeyan. They achieved the feat on May 20. Kaamya is a class 12 student of Navy Children School.
