Mumbai Traffic Police asked to speak politely with those flouting norms
Addressing traffic violators politely has been made mandatory for Mumbai Traffic Police, according to a new circular by Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Yashasvi Yadav. "I have asked my personnel to address citizens as 'sir', 'madam' or 'shriman', 'shrimati'," Yadav said. He further said that "talking politely will be very helpful for better communication between policemen and citizens".
