Mumbai water tankers' strike to impact daily water supply

Mumbai Water Tanker Association (MWTA) has announced a strike from April 10 to protest new groundwater licensing rules by the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA). Approximately 1,800 tankers in Mumbai supply nearly 200 million litres of non-potable water daily, and the strike is likely to disrupt these services.
