Mumbai woman cheated of ₹27 lakh on pretext of railway job; 1 arrested

A man was arrested for allegedly defrauding a Mumbai woman of ₹27 lakh on the pretext of providing a job in the Indian Railways as a ticket checker. The accused, Jitendra Ghadi (39), even provided the appointment letter to the victim but later, it was found to be fake, police said. Notably, Ghadi is a suspended railway employee.
