Mumbai woman opposes firecrackers, man throws live crackers at her

A 30-year-old man allegedly threw burning firecrackers towards a 52-year-old social worker after she objected to bursting crackers on a Mumbai road. Preeti Gaikwad dodged the firecrackers and got into an argument with Pradeep Phating, who allegedly started abusing her. While Gaikwad was taking Phating to a police station, he allegedly banged her head on an iron rod and escaped.
