Mumbai-headquartered startup Bizongo fired 15% staff (about 50 employees), shortly after announcing a $50-million funding round, YourStory reported. Confirming the layoffs but not the number, a Bizongo spokesperson said staff have been relocated to drive sharper focus towards key business goals. Bizongo had reportedly fired over 100 employees in 2020 apart from additional layoffs this year.
