Mumbai's 150-yr-old Carnac Bridge shut, to open again after reconstruction

Mumbai's Carnac Bridge, which is reportedly over 150 years old was shut down for vehicular and pedestrian traffic on August 22. It will re-open after reconstruction. Traffic from P D'Mello Road towards Chakala Junction will be diverted to Avtar Singh Bedi Chowk. Vehicles can also move through Wadi Bunder Junction and proceed to Chakala Junction via SVP Road, reports said.
