Mumbai's BEST fleet to get 525 AC electric buses by December

Mumbai's Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) fleet is expected to get 525 AC electric buses by December this year. These will be part of a deal signed with Olectra Greentech Limited, a Hyderabad-based electric vehicle company, to deliver 2,100 electric buses over a period of 12 months. Notably, BEST is planning to have almost 100% electric fleet by 2027.
