Mumbai's British-era Carnac bridge to be cut into 44 pieces

Mumbai's British-era Carnac bridge which is to be demolished on Saturday and Sunday will be cut into 44 pieces in a 27-hour operation. "They'll be cut with the help of 50 gas cutters...and...about 300 gas cylinders will be utilized," a Central Railway official said. "Total manpower of 400 plus...will be used to carry out the operation smoothly," he added.
