Mundeshwari Devi Temple: world's oldest functioning hindu temple

An ancient temple in Bihar, dedicated to goddess Durga and lord Shiva, is considered as "oldest functional" Hindu temple in the world.Located in the Mundeshwari Hills, in the Kaimur District of Bihar, the rituals associated with worshipping at the temple have been performed without a break. Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) dates the temple to 108 AD.
