Munich’s Oktoberfest to return without COVID-19 restrictions: Mayor

Munich's Mayor Dieter Reiter on Friday said Oktoberfest, the world's largest annual beer festival, will return in 2022 without any COVID-19 restrictions. It was cancelled the previous two years due to COVID-19. The festival usually attracts over six million people to Munich each year. Reiter added he told the festival's management to go ahead "without delay and without restrictions".
