Murali creates history, becomes 1st Indian man to reach long jump final at World C'ships

Long jumper Murali Sreeshankar has created history by becoming the first Indian man to qualify for the long jump final in the history of World Athletics Championships. The 23-year-old registered a best jump of 8m to reach the final at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in US' Eugene. Meanwhile, India's Avinash Sable qualified for the 3,000m steeplechase final.
