Murder bid, arson, burglary cases surged in 2024 in Delhi: Report

Delhi saw a surge in the cases of attempt to murder, arson and burglary, while crime against women saw a slight dip in 2024 as compared to 2023, stated a Delhi Statistical Hand Book 2025. According to the report, the national capital logged 8,965 burglary cases in 2024, a surge from 6,916 in 2023, an increase of nearly 29 per cent.
