Murder convict escapes from Yerawada Central Prison in Pune: Report

A murder convict lodged in the Yerawada Central Prison in Pune reportedly managed to escape the premise on Thursday morning. The man has been identified as Ajay Peter Tonapu, a native of Khatti district of Jharkhand, as per reports. He was reportedly serving life imprisonment in a case of murder and destruction of evidence.
