Mushroom cloud erupts over Ukraine's 2nd largest city as Russia blows up gas pipeline
A mushroom cloud erupted over Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, after Russian forces blew up a gas pipeline. Ukrainian authorities warned the explosion could cause an "environmental catastrophe" and advised residents to cover their windows with damp cloth or gauze and to drink fluids. Kharkiv, which has a population of over 1.5 million, is located 40 km from the Russian border.
