Musi Jan Andolan raises ecological, social concerns over project

The Musi Jan Andolan (MJA) on Saturday slammed the Musi Riverfront vision presented by the state govt and the Musi Riverfront Development Corporation Limited. In its preliminary response to the Telangana government’s project, MJA argued that the proposed plan accords priority to large-scale infrastructure and commercial riverfront development over genuine ecological restoration of the river.
