American singer-songwriter-instrumentalist Prince Rogers Nelson, popularly known as Prince, passed away on Thursday aged 57 at his Paisley Park studio in Minnesota. His representative revealed that Prince had been battling a bad case of the flu, and had been hospitalised last week. His most popular works include the album 'Purple Rain' (1984), which won him an Oscar and two Grammys.
