Musk pauses relaunch of $8 per month Twitter blue tick verification plan

Twitter's new owner Elon Musk on Tuesday announced that the social media platform is holding off the relaunch of Twitter Blue "until there is high confidence of stopping impersonation". Twitter recently announced the blue tick subscription service, which costs $8 per month for a verification badge. Musk added that Twitter will probably use different colour check for organisations and individuals.
