Musk's Neuralink rival is developing a wearable device to curb appetite
Chinese neurotechnology firm BrainCo, a major rival to Elon Musk's Neuralink, is developing a wearable device to tackle obesity, positioning it as an electronic alternative to weight-loss drugs. The non-invasive device uses brain-computer interface technology to stimulate brain signals that suppress appetite. BrainCo plans to launch it in China within two to three years before expanding to the US.
