Musk’s Tesla discontinues Solar Roof after installing just 3,000 tiles in 7 years

Elon Musk-led Tesla has discontinued its Solar Roof, solar panels designed to look like roofing tiles, after determining it was no longer financially viable, according to reports. Over seven years, the company installed roughly 3,000 Solar Roofs, far short of its target of 1,000 per week. However, Tesla will continue selling conventional solar panels.
