Muslim built Hanuman Garhi: Brij Bhushan on CM Yogi's 'SP, Congress allowed namaz' claim

Ex-BJP MP Brij Bhushan Singh refuted UP CM Yogi Adityanath's claim that previous SP and Congress governments allowed namaz at Ayodhya's Hanuman Garhi Temple. "Namaz was never offered there...He should know that a Muslim built the Hanuman Garhi. It's mentioned on the stone inscription there," he said. Historians credit 18th-century Nawab of Awadh Shuja-ud-Daula with the present fort-like structure.
