US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Saturday reasserted his claim made last week that he saw Muslims cheering the attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001. “Worldwide, the Muslims were absolutely going wild,” he said. Trump cited a 2001 Washington Post article about authorities detaining people allegedly seen cheering the twin towers’ destruction from rooftops in New Jersey.
