Must apologise: BJP to DMK MP over remarks on girls in North India

BJP reacted after DMK MP Dayanidhi Maran claimed that girls in India’s northern states are expected to stay at home and do household work, while Tamil Nadu encourages them to study and pursue careers. "He has to apologise to the people of India, particularly the Hindi-speaking people, whom he says are uneducated and uncivilised," the BJP added.
